This Wonderful BusYness!

I’m so humbled at the year I’ve had… personally and with my photography business. I bought my first DSLR back in 2009 when my oldest son was just a tiny newborn. I didn’t want to miss a THING! I wanted to capture every smile, every frown and every discovery. I was so excited about having children and was thrilled that I had a medium that would help me capture those flitting moments that we think we’ll remember forever but over time, fade from our minds’ grasp. I was loving what I could do but always felt, in the back of my mind, that creatively I could be doing so much more. I took my first official photography class in October of 2009 where I learned how to use my camera and manually set everything so I could capture those moments AND help them appear more artistic. For years I practiced manual settings and bettered my craft.  Between 2013 and now,  I have completed 8 photography classes, have attended 3 workshops and have planned and put together over 8 styled shoots. I have done all of this to give back to YOU. I want to be able to give you the best images I can and constantly training myself and learning new things is how I can do that.  I was so thrilled to hit 500 followers on IG because it meant that I was GROWING. I am constantly growing and am so excited to see where the next 500 followers takes me. So, from my family to yours… I want to tell you THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I would be nowhere in this business if it weren’t for you and your referrals.  I am a mom to 3 busy kids and one cooking (due February) as well as a nurse in the NICU. Life can get so BUSY and hard to juggle but I wouldn’t trade this BUSYness for anything.
