HOLY pregnancy brain. I haven’t done the research but I’m absolutely convinced that it’s a real thing. I can’t believe that I just plum FORGOT to write my Friday blog post last week. These little ones suck the life out of you but give so much back and I’m super excited to add to our family but holy smokes, I’m lucky my head is attached or I’d be even worse off.
This beautiful family belongs to 2 wonderful parents. They have 2 girls and 2 boys and the most adorable grandchildren. Their daughter, Katee, lives close to me and is one of the kindest people I know so I was thrilled to meet the rest of her family. It’s always so difficult to get everyone’s schedules lined up for an extended family shoot so I’m glad that we were able to make this session work. We shot at the stunning Antelope Island; which never disappoints. It was a smidgen on the nippy side and all the kids did so well. And can we talk about their outfits for a second? I mean, seriously! They put themselves and the colors together so well. The earthy tones looked fantastic in front of the beautiful rocks and tall grass at Antelope Island. We were able to get a handful of family shots and some individual family shots as well.
It was fun for me from beginning to end and the best part was spending time with such outgoing people. They had me laughing the whole time and everyone was so kind. I typically don’t do a ton of extended family sessions because, quite frankly, it can be difficult, but I’m so glad these guys hired me for their family pictures and it really was great to meet and get to know them more. Thanks guys for a memorable evening!
